It's been almost nine months since I posted anything here, probably because of Facebook. It's so much quicker to post a link or a quick thought or "status" on Facebook than it is to actually write a blog post. Perhaps an argument could be made that Facebook leads to laziness.
Anyway, I'm thinking about reviving the blog. An outlet for writing is a good thing, even if it has a tiny audience. And writing more regularly is a good thing. So I reckon I'll give it a shot.
I don't have a whole lot to say at the moment. It's late, I have a headache boring through my left temple and squeezing the nerves at the base of my skull and behind my eye. That makes me all sorts of grumpy.
But it's not all bad. I took a look at Martin Luther's original "Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott" music and jotted down a quick arrangement that fit within a time signature and extended a couple of lines to fit the common version of the lyrics. The original is a whole lot more fun than the way it is usually sung these days, although it's probably a little too rambunctious for some folks.
And I've been spending time lately thinking about/outlining/plotting/brainstorming revisions for my NaNoWriMo '09 novel. If things go well with the re-writing process, I might actually let people read this one.
We shall see...

Good to see you back. I haven't written all that much over at my blogs, either lately, but can't blame either Facebook or Twitter for that. More just the having-a-dadgum-job end of things.
